At the end of August we headed out on the road again to Colorado for treatment #19. We left early enough to watch the Broncos Game...on TV, get in a little shopping, some good food, and of course swimming before going to bed. The drive felt a lot shorter this time. I think we are on such a roll with the treatments that we have our stops/breaks down. Grandma and Grandpa Dahl watched Izze as usual and she had a lot of fun eith them. They are so great to watch her and make her feel more stable and comfortable. I know I have said this, but I will always say it because it's true. We couldn't do it without them and without all the support from our friends and family. Thank You guys so much! Even if you don't know it, you are a strength to us when we are weak.
The treatment went well. Dr. Yakes gave her 6ml of Ethanol which was a tolerable dose for her recovery. She didn't have any scabs or scaring this time! Oh do we love that!
